The family's Piano range celebrates the harmony between tradition and innovation, producing wines that reflect the character of the region while remaining wonderfully approachable. 'Piano Fine White' offers a different expression of Port, made from indigenous white grape varieties grown in the Cima Corgo, where west-facing vineyards sit at around 600 metres above sea level on soils that transition from schist to granite. Harvested in early September, the grapes undergo traditional Port vinification, with fermentation carefully controlled to preserve the wine's natural fruit character. The final blend is selected the following spring and matured partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel, a combination that allows the wine to develop richness and complexity while retaining its delicate floral aromas and fresh fruit flavours.
