The fruit comes from clay and limestone slopes around Castillon-la-Bataille and Sainte-Colombe, just a few kilometres from Saint-Émilion, from parcels acquired specifically for this Bordeaux bottling. In 2024, Merlot dominates the blend, bringing ripe fruit and velvety texture, while a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc adds floral perfume, freshness and spice.
