'One-Liner'
A dry, site-specific Riesling with citrus, mineral drive and a long, stony finish.

Tasting Note
Pale straw in the glass. The nose is fine and bright, with citrus and stone-fruit notes alongside a clear mineral edge. On the palate it is dry and balanced, with a firm, stony line running through the fruit and a finish that stays fresh and persistent. There is a little more depth here than in a straightforward estate Riesling, but it still keeps its precision.

The Story
Nussriegel in Ungstein is one of the stronger sites of the Mittelhaardt, with a warm southern exposure and sandy soils cut through by limestone. That combination matters: the sunshine brings ripeness, while the soil keeps the wine from ever feeling broad or lazy. It is a good example of what makes the Pfalz so appealing with Riesling – generosity of fruit, yes, but also shape, dryness and that quiet mineral backbone that keeps the whole thing honest.
