'One-Liner'
A fragrant Cape white with peach, apricot and blossom, rounded out by a creamy, gently oaked finish.

Tasting Note
Pale straw with a light golden glint in the glass. The nose is floral and expressive, with peach, apricot and blossom at the fore. On the palate it is rounded and creamy, with ripe stone fruit, a touch of oak spice and enough freshness to keep it balanced. Generous, polished and very easy to enjoy.

The Story
Babylonstoren is one of the Cape’s most visually distinctive estates, with a history that stretches back to 1692. Set beneath Simonsberg, it has become known not just for wine, but for the wider world built around the farm – gardens, orchards, food and a deep sense of place. That richness suits Viognier rather well. It is a grape that likes sunshine and generosity, and here it turns into a white with both perfume and texture, shaped by fruit but given extra breadth from a measured touch of oak.
