'One-Liner'
A smooth, sun-filled Sicilian red with ripe berry fruit and a soft, easy finish.

Tasting Note
Bright ruby in the glass, this is immediately generous on the nose, with plenty of ripe red and dark berry fruit. The palate is rounded and warming, with a little extra depth from the appassimento influence, but it never feels heavy. There’s a nice balance here between juicy fruit, fresh acidity and supple tannins. Smooth, crowd-pleasing and very easy to pour again.

The Story
U. Passimiento is very much built in a modern Sicilian style – generous, fruit-led and made to be immediately enjoyable. It combines Nero d’Avola, Sicily’s signature red grape, with Frappato, which brings a bit more brightness and lift. Part of the Nero d’Avola is harvested later and given a drying period, which helps build extra richness and softness into the finished wine. The result is a red that feels warm and full without losing its sense of freshness.
