'One-Liner'
A rare, sumptuously sweet Kadarka filled with cherry compote, dark chocolate and warming spice – rich and velvety, yet lifted by the grape’s natural freshness.
Tasting Note
Deeply fruited and wonderfully expressive, with ripe cherry, wild strawberry and cranberry developing into richer notes of cherry compote, dark chocolate and cinnamon. The palate is sweet, smooth and glossy, with concentrated red fruit and gentle spice balanced by lively acidity and a fine savoury edge. Long and indulgent through the finish, with lingering cherry, cocoa and a delicate touch of dried herbs.

The Story
Balla Géza founded his estate in 1999 with the aim of restoring the reputation of the historic Miniș-Măderat vineyards, set between the Mureș River and the foothills of the Zărand Mountains in western Romania. Cadarissima draws inspiration from the sweet Kadarka wines for which Miniș became famous during the 18th century, presenting the region’s traditional red grape in a rare and luxurious form. Produced as a limited release and bottled in half bottles, it captures Kadarka’s naturally fragrant red fruit and lively acidity beneath layers of concentrated cherry, chocolate and spice – a distinctive revival of one of the region’s oldest wine traditions.
