Tasting Note
Deep ruby, almost inky in the glass. The nose is generous and opulent, packed with black cherry, plum and a hint of vanilla spice. On the palate it’s full-bodied and smooth, with soft tannins and a plush core of ripe dark fruit. There’s a touch of sweetness to the fruit, balanced by gentle structure and a warming finish. Bold, comforting and very easy to like.

The Story

The Susumaniello link reflects the region’s wider revival of native varieties, but here the focus is firmly on Primitivo’s generous, crowd-pleasing character.
