'One-Liner'
A classic Barolo with ripe cherry, savoury spice, firm Nebbiolo tannins and a long, structured finish.

Tasting Note
Deep ruby in the glass, with the early signs of garnet that Nebbiolo picks up with age. The nose brings ripe cherry, red berries, tobacco, cedar, vanilla and warm spice. On the palate it is full and structured, with firm but inviting tannins, bright acidity and a long finish that carries notes of clove, citrus peel and refined oak spice. It has the grip and seriousness you want from Barolo, but there is a real generosity to the fruit too.

The Story
“I Tre Pais” means “the three villages”, and that is the heart of the wine. The Nebbiolo comes from vineyards in Novello, Barolo and Monforte d’Alba, three names that sit right at the centre of the Barolo story. Broccardo itself is a family-run estate in Monforte d’Alba, now led by Filippo, Laura and Federica Broccardo, and this bottle feels like a very good expression of what they do well: traditional Piedmontese structure, but with enough polish and ripe fruit to make the wine feel open and engaging rather than severe.
