'One-Liner'
A bright, lightly sparkling Lambrusco with ripe cherry fruit, floral lift and a fresh, semi-dry finish.

Tasting Note
Ruby red in the glass with a lively spritz. The nose is lifted and fruit-led, showing redcurrant, strawberry and a light floral note. On the palate it is juicy and easy-going, with ripe cherry and berry fruit, a soft touch of sweetness and bracing acidity that keeps it fresh and food-friendly. Chill it well and let it do what good Lambrusco does best – be joyful.

The Story
This wine is made from Lambrusco Salamino grown on clay soils in the zone north of Modena, the classic heartland for Salamino di Santa Croce. The current trade sheet describes it as naturally fermented and lightly sparkling, with around 25 g/l residual sugar, which explains the style in the glass – semi-dry, bright-fruited and far more refreshing than people sometimes expect from Lambrusco. It sits in a very handy middle ground: enough fruit and softness to be charming on its own, but enough acidity to be seriously useful with food.
