A fragrant mountain white from Alto Adige, full of peach, apricot, spice and bright alpine freshness.

Tasting Note
Straw yellow in the glass with greenish hints. The nose is fresh, intense and aromatic, with white blossom, peach, apricot, ripe apple and a gentle spicy lift. On the palate it is dry, balanced and expressive, showing stone fruit, citrus brightness and a light muscat-like note. There is good body here, but the acidity keeps everything clean, lifted and precise. A beautifully characterful northern Italian white with freshness, perfume and a mineral finish.

The Story
Valle Isarco – also known as Eisacktal – is one of Italy’s most distinctive white wine valleys. Running through the mountains of Alto Adige, it gives grapes cool nights, bright sunshine and the sort of dramatic altitude that helps build fragrance, acidity and precision in the glass.
Kerner suits this setting beautifully. A crossing of Schiava and Riesling, created in Weinsberg in 1929, it thrives on the higher, sunny slopes of the mid Valle Isarco, where light, gravelly and sandy soils help shape wines with perfume, spice and freshness.
