Tasting Note
Deep ruby red in the glass. The nose is complex, showing red fruit with a vinous, spicy edge. On the palate it’s harmonious, full and velvety, with a balanced line of tannin and acidity that keeps the richness in check. A generous, food-friendly red with plenty of warmth and polish.

The Story
Cantina Valpolicella Negrar is one of the historic names of the region – a cooperative founded in 1933 and still rooted in Valpolicella Classica today. The house works with hundreds of hectares of vineyards across the area, and Ripasso remains one of its hallmark styles: traditional Valpolicella is refermented on Amarone or Recioto skins to build extra body, aroma and colour while keeping the wine recognisably Valpolicella in character.
