'One-Liner'
A lively, characterful Dão red with woodland berries, earthy spice and a fresh, gently grippy finish.
Tasting Note
Light ruby in colour, with bright aromas of raspberry, red cherry and wild forest fruits, followed by subtle leafy herbs, cracked pepper and a lightly earthy, mineral note. The palate is juicy and medium-bodied, with fresh acidity and firm but well-integrated tannins giving shape to the fruit, finishing dry, savoury and distinctly food-friendly.

The Story
Cas’Amaro works across five of Portugal’s wine regions, bringing a modern, environmentally conscious approach to the country’s native grape varieties. Porco Espinho comes from the granite soils of the Dão, where Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz and Jaen combine freshness and fragrance with a naturally savoury structure. The grapes are harvested by hand, fermented at controlled temperatures and matured on their lees in stainless steel for eight months, preserving the wine’s vivid fruit while gently rounding its tannins.
