Tasting Note
Pale pink in the glass, with fresh strawberry and raspberry joined by touches of pineapple and ripe tropical fruit. The palate is soft and generously fruity, with a delicate spritz bringing lift to its gentle sweetness. Bright acidity keeps everything lively and balanced, leading into a clean, refreshingly juicy finish.

The Story
Casal Mendes was created by Aliança as its first lightly sparkling rosé and was initially developed with the international market in mind. Today, Aliança forms part of the Bacalhôa group, although the wine retains the bright, uncomplicated style that made it one of the producer’s most successful bottles. Baga and Tinta Roriz are fermented at a cool temperature in stainless steel, preserving their vivid fruit and lively freshness, while a gentle spritz and touch of sweetness give the finished wine its soft, welcoming character.
