Tasting Note
Bright violet-ruby in the glass. The nose is aromatic and fruit-led, with ripe red berries and a light scattering of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it feels fresh and supple, with juicy cranberry and redcurrant fruit, low astringency and a soft, easy flow. Honest, bright and very drinkable.

The Story
Blau Mari Negre is part of the Vins Petxina / Celler 9+ project in Catalonia, a range built around honest, characterful Mediterranean wines with an organic focus. Current trade material presents the 2024 as an organic Tarragona red that leans into ripe red fruit and freshness rather than weight or heavy oak. It’s very much the sort of bottle that aims to be open, approachable and useful on the table.
