Working biodynamically owner Vanessa Cherruau believes that really good dry Chenin Blanc can be made from this top terroir. Her vineyards straddle Chaume and Quarts de Chaume – appellations known for some of the world’s greatest sweet wines. But declassify this and you have plain old Anjou Blanc. Soft, rounded, all-round rather lovely Chenin Blanc from the Loire.
