'One-Liner'
A more generous take on Bordeaux Sauvignon – ripe pineapple and passion fruit meet green herbs, zesty acidity and a lovely textured palate.

Tasting Note
Bright pale gold in the glass, with expressive aromas of ripe pineapple and passion fruit alongside citrus and fresh green herbs. The palate is juicy and textured, with tropical fruit balanced by a lively streak of acidity that keeps everything crisp and energetic. Subtle herbal notes add classic Sauvignon character through the middle, while the fruit has enough ripeness and weight to give the wine more presence than a simple, lean white Bordeaux. Freshness returns strongly towards the finish, bringing a mouth-watering citrus edge. Vibrant and nicely persistent, with tropical fruit and herbs lingering behind.

The Story
Château Graulet sits on the hillsides around Plassac, close to Blaye and overlooking the Gironde Estuary. The property covers around 30 hectares, but white wine is very much the minority here, with only about 1.5 hectares devoted to Sauvignon and Sémillon. The estate belongs to Dominique Raimond and forms part of Châteaux Solidaires, a group of neighbouring properties whose harvests are kept and vinified separately so that each château retains its own identity. That small white production makes this 2024 particularly interesting – an aromatic, fruit-driven glimpse of a part of Bordeaux still overwhelmingly associated with red wine.
