The Story
Château Les Hauts de Gadet occupies around 24 hectares of elevated vineyard land in the northern Médoc, close to Saint-Estèphe and Château Sociando-Mallet, with views towards the Gironde Estuary. Its vineyards sit on a mixture of gravel, clay and limestone, soils that offer both drainage and enough water retention to help the vines ripen steadily through Bordeaux’s long growing season. The vines average around 35 years old, giving the estate a solid foundation of mature vineyard material. 'Château Clément' offers a straightforward route into Bordeaux Rouge – less about prestige and classification, and more about the region’s enduring knack for producing balanced, savoury reds that work brilliantly at the dinner table.
