Tasting Note
Pale peony pink in the glass, with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is lifted and aromatic, showing rose, linden blossom and small red-berry fruit. On the palate it feels soft and lively at once, with fresh fruit, gentle sweetness and a nicely balanced finish. Charming, crowd-pleasing and very easy to drink.

The Story
Violette comes from Conte Collalto, a historic Veneto producer better known to many for its sparkling wines. This rosé is made from Manzoni Moscato, a less familiar grape that gives the wine its very distinctive floral, grapey charm. The producer’s technical sheet shows a short, 48-hour skin maceration before the base wine is clarified and then refermented in pressurised steel tanks, which helps explain both the delicate pink colour and the wine’s fresh, aromatic style.
