'One-Liner'
A bright, youthful Tempranillo filled with dark cherry, boysenberry and warm spice – juicy and generous, with fine tannins and a distinctly savoury finish.
Tasting Note
Ripe dark cherry, boysenberry and blackberry lead the way, joined by lifted floral notes, earthy spice and a gentle dusting of cocoa. The palate is dry and fruit-driven, with lively freshness and fine, steadily building tannins giving shape to the juicy berry fruit. A subtle savoury character emerges through the finish, which is long, balanced and lightly spiced.

The Story
Crittenden was established on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula in 1982 by Garry and Margaret Crittenden, with the second generation now guiding the family business. Los Hermanos means ‘the siblings’, a nod to Rollo and Zoe Crittenden and their shared fondness for the food and wines of Spain. This Tempranillo is made from hand-picked King Valley fruit, fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in open vessels before spending five months in seasoned oak. The restrained use of older barrels leaves the ripe fruit firmly in charge, adding just enough texture and spice to this fresh, modern Australian take on a classic Spanish grape.
