'One-Liner'
A graceful village Chambolle-Musigny with pure red fruit, fine spice and a beautifully lifted finish.

Tasting Note
Bright ruby in the glass. The nose opens with delicate berry fruit and a light touch of dry fruits and spice. On the palate it is tonic, finely shaped and easy to approach, with well-defined tannins and a fresh, spicy finish. This is a fragrant, poised style of Pinot Noir rather than anything heavy or forceful.

The Story
Anne and Hervé Sigaut work a family domaine in Chambolle-Musigny whose roots go back to the early 19th century. They took over the estate in 1990 and have gradually built it into one of the village’s quietly admired names, with around seven hectares spread across a number of parcels, much of it planted to old Pinot Noir vines. That matters in Chambolle, because this is an appellation where finesse tends to count for more than sheer weight. The best wines are less about muscle than line, fragrance and detail, and that is exactly the sort of ground on which this domaine has made its name.
