'One-Liner'
A serious, classically built Grand Cru Burgundy with dark cherry fruit, spice and a long, mineral finish.
Tasting Note
Bright ruby in the glass. The nose leans towards dark cherry, plum, black tea and wet stone, while the palate is concentrated and structured, with a dense core of black fruit, firm tannins and integrated acidity. Long, dry and complex, with a savoury mineral edge on the finish.

The Story
The Thénard family has been connected to Burgundy since the 18th century, with land in Givry since 1760 and the estate formally founded in 1842. Even now, the domaine still feels rooted in a more traditional Burgundian style, with historic underground cellars and open-top wooden fermenters still part of the picture. That suits a wine like Grands-Échezeaux rather well – this is not a showy, modern gloss of a Grand Cru, but something more classical, built on structure, perfume and patience.
