'One-Liner'
A finely etched Premier Cru Burgundy with red cherry, spice and the kind of poise that makes Vosne-Romanée so sought after.

Tasting Note
Bright ruby in the glass. The nose is perfumed and precise, with redcurrant, cranberry and strawberry, alongside floral notes and a touch of smoky spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied, lightly spiced and very finely built, with ripe but measured tannins and a long, nuanced finish. There is energy here rather than sheer weight, and that suits the wine beautifully.

The Story
Clos des Réas is the heart of the Michel Gros story. It is a rare Burgundian monopole, entirely in the hands of the Gros family since 1860, and one of the defining vineyards of the domaine. That matters because monopoles are unusual in Burgundy, where ownership is so often split into tiny pieces. Here, by contrast, Clos des Réas gives the estate a single, continuous thread running through generations. In the glass, it tends to show the more graceful side of Vosne-Romanée – fragrant, supple and finely detailed, with depth carried quietly rather than loudly.
