'One-Liner'
A beautifully poised white Givry – ripe yellow fruit, citrus and flowers with supple texture and a fresh, mineral finish.

Tasting Note
Pale gold in the glass, with an expressive nose of white flowers, citrus blossom and ripe yellow orchard fruit. The palate is fresh and rounded, combining pear, peach and lemon with a gently supple texture. Bright acidity keeps everything lively, while a clear mineral streak gives definition beneath the fruit. There is enough richness to give the wine presence at the table without sacrificing freshness or precision. Long and balanced on the finish, with orchard fruit, citrus and a subtle nutty note lingering behind.

The Story
Domaine Michel Sarrazin et Fils is based at Jambles, in the hills just above Givry, where the Sarrazin family’s viticultural roots stretch back to the seventeenth century. Michel Sarrazin took over the family estate in 1964 and began bottling under the domaine’s own name, with subsequent generations continuing to build its reputation across the Côte Chalonnaise. White Givry is considerably less common than the appellation’s Pinot Noir, which makes this Chardonnay particularly interesting. 'Sans Nom' combines the ripe fruit and generosity associated with the Côte Chalonnaise with the freshness and limestone-driven character that give good white Burgundy its precision and energy.
