'One-Liner'
Classic Sancerre with all three terroirs in the mix – citrus, white flowers and orchard fruit with bright acidity and a clean, mineral finish.

Tasting Note
Pale straw in the glass, with fresh aromas of white flowers, lemon and grapefruit alongside quince and a subtle herbal lift. The palate is crisp and linear, with citrus and orchard fruit carried by lively acidity and a gentle roundness from time on the fine lees. A distinct mineral streak runs underneath, adding precision without making the wine feel severe. There is plenty of freshness here, but also enough fruit and texture to give the wine real presence at the table. Clean and mouth-watering on the finish, with lemon, herbs and stony minerality lingering behind.

The Story
Domaine Noël et Jean-Luc Raimbault was created in 1980 when brothers Noël and Jean-Luc joined forces on the family vineyards around Sury-en-Vaux. Today the domaine covers around 13 hectares across Sury-en-Vaux, Verdigny, Bannay and Sancerre, taking in all three of the appellation’s principal soil types: chalky caillottes, flinty silex and the clay-rich terres blanches. Their Sancerre Blanc brings fruit from all three together, with each terroir vinified separately before blending and three months on the fine lees. The result is a particularly complete expression of Sancerre – floral and citrus-led, but with enough roundness and mineral detail to show exactly why Sauvignon Blanc works so well here.
