A generous, full-flavoured Spanish red with ripe berry fruit, smoky spice and beautifully integrated oak – powerful, polished and wonderfully warming.

Tasting Note
Deep cherry red in colour, with ripe raspberry, blackberry and plum layered with cracked pepper, sweet spice and a gentle smoky character. The palate is full and structured, balancing concentrated fruit with fresh acidity and firm, well-integrated tannins, while notes of vanilla, toast and warming spice linger through the long, savoury finish.

The Story
Founded in 1991, Enate has become one of Somontano’s leading names, bringing together modern winemaking and a longstanding passion for contemporary art – each of its labels carries an original work, with the Crianza featuring a piece by Spanish artist Víctor Mira. Tempranillo forms the heart of this blend, bringing ripe fruit and unmistakably Spanish character, while Cabernet Sauvignon adds depth and structure. The varieties are fermented separately before spending nine months in oak – American barrels for the Tempranillo and French for the Cabernet – creating a rich, balanced red in which smoky spice and toast frame the generous fruit without overwhelming it.
