A plush, easy-going Malbec with ripe black fruit, soft spice and a smooth, velvety finish.

Tasting Note
Deep purple in the glass. The nose is generous and fruit-driven, showing blackberry, plum and a hint of violet with a touch of sweet spice. On the palate it’s full-bodied and velvety, with soft tannins and a juicy core of dark fruit. A gentle influence of oak adds warmth and structure, leading to a smooth, rounded finish. Bold, polished and very easy to enjoy.

The Story
Progreso Reserve comes from Bodega Estancia Mendoza, with fruit sourced from vineyards in Mendoza at around 750–950 metres above sea level. The technical sheet also notes 6–8 months in French oak, which helps explain the wine’s softer texture and the subtle cocoa-and-vanilla edge behind the fruit. Stylistically, it sits in that very familiar Mendoza sweet spot — ripe, generous and polished, but still balanced enough to stay useful with food.
