'One-Liner'
A bright and characterful Sicilian Grillo with lemon, white peach and Mediterranean herbs – fresh, gently mineral and finished with a deliciously saline edge.

Tasting Note
Pale straw with golden glints, opening with lemon and fresh citrus alongside white peach, jasmine and a gentle herbal note. The palate is dry and lively, with juicy stone fruit balanced by crisp acidity and a distinctly savoury, mineral character. A subtle suggestion of sweet almond appears towards the finish, which remains fresh, lightly salty and pleasingly persistent.

The Story
Feudo Maccari was founded by Antonio Moretti Cuseri in 2000 after he fell for the landscape around Noto, eventually bringing together an estate of roughly 250 hectares close to the Vendicari Nature Reserve in Sicily’s far south-east. Olli is made entirely from Grillo, grown in this sun-filled but sea-cooled landscape, where limestone-rich soils and constant Mediterranean breezes help the grapes retain freshness as they ripen. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures without the skins, followed by several months in stainless steel, keeping the emphasis firmly on Grillo’s citrus fruit, floral lift and naturally savoury, saline character.
