'One-Liner'
Light, spicy and beautifully poised – a proper Szekszárd Kadarka with red-cherry lift and silky charm.
Tasting Note
Bright ruby in the glass. The nose is spicy and aromatic, with notes of rosehip and cherry. On the palate it is light-bodied and silky, with delicate red fruit, vibrant freshness and a fine, elegant shape. Charming and expressive, with a clean, nuanced finish.

The Story
Ifj. Márkvárt János is part of the new generation of Szekszárd winemakers, focused on local varieties and low-intervention cellar work. This Kadarka comes from Jobbremete and Sauli-völgy, from 80-year-old vines on loess soils, with hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation in open-top vats, no oak influence, and maturation in stainless steel and bottle. It is unfiltered and unfined, very much in keeping with the estate’s minimal-intervention approach.
