'One-Liner'
A spicy, finely built Bull’s Blood with dark fruit, freshness and real Szekszárd character.
Tasting Note
Deep ruby in the glass. The nose leans into plum, black cherry and warm spice, while the palate is smooth, layered and well balanced, with ripe dark fruit, gentle savoury depth and a faint bitter twist on the finish that gives the wine extra shape. This is a fuller, more refined style of Bikavér rather than a rough-edged one.

The Story
János Márkvárt grew up in Szekszárd helping in the family cellar, and today he carries that tradition forward from a small organically farmed estate of around 4.5 hectares. He is part of the newer generation of winemakers in the region, but his roots are deep in local grapes and local style. That matters with Bikavér, because when it is done well it should feel like more than just a blend – it should feel like Szekszárd in the glass: spicy, generous and built on freshness as much as fruit.
