Juicy, chillable Aussie red – cherry–cranberry fruit, a little spice, bone-dry finish.

Tasting Note
Bright ruby. Up-front aromas of cherry, cranberry and red plum with a lightly 'skinsy' lift hinting at tangerine and stone-fruit. The palate is medium-light, supple and oh-so gluggable – red-berry fruit, a touch of spice and gentle texture from older oak, finishing refreshingly dry. Serve slightly chilled.

The Story
Italian Plastic is a lo-fi side project from McLaren Vale winemaker Sam Berketa (Alpha Box & Dice). The 2024 Super Glou is a multi-varietal, South Australia blend built for pure drinkability: parcels were picked in the morning, mostly destemmed with some whole bunches, fermented on skins for 7 days, then gently pressed and matured in a mix of old barrels and steel to keep things bright and crunchy.
