'One-Liner'
A structured, fruit-rich LBV Port with wild berries, spice and a proper, cellar-worthy sense of depth.
Tasting Note
Deep ruby in the glass. The nose leans into wild berries and dark fruit, with a warm thread of spice running underneath. On the palate it is full and concentrated, with plenty of ripe fruit at the core, balanced by firm structure and enough freshness to stop it feeling heavy. Long, serious and built for after-dinner drinking with a bit of presence.

The Story
Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 and remains one of the historic names in Port. Their LBV is made from a single vintage, then aged in barrel for around four to six years before bottling, which gives it more development and polish than a younger Ruby while still keeping plenty of fruit at its core. The producer also notes that the wine is neither fined nor filtered, so it may throw a sediment and is worth decanting before serving.
