'One-Liner'
A smooth, plummy Ruby Port with dark fruit, gentle spice and a rich, soft finish.
Tasting Note
Deep ruby in the glass. The nose gives plenty of ripe plum and dark cherry, with a little spice in the background. On the palate it is rich and full, with lively black-fruit character and enough freshness to keep it from feeling heavy. Soft, rounded and very easy to enjoy after dinner.

The Story
Krohn is one of the smaller historic Port houses, working with fruit from its own vineyards as well as neighbouring growers in the Douro. This Ruby Port is made from a blend of grapes, vineyards and vintages, then aged for around two to three years in large old oak barrels. That ageing keeps the fruit front and centre, but softens the wine enough to make it feel a little more rounded and versatile than a very simple young Ruby.
