'One-Liner'
A high-altitude Malbec with dark fruit, floral lift and a fine mineral backbone.
Tasting Note
Deep ruby in the glass. The nose leans into ripe black fruit with a lifted floral edge and a subtle stony note underneath. On the palate it is generous but well held, with dark berry fruit, fresh acidity and a long, structured finish. There is real depth here, but it feels defined rather than heavy.

The Story
La Consulta, in the Uco Valley, sits up against the Andes with stone, sand and rounded alluvial soils shaped by the old bed of the Tunuyán River. That sort of setting tends to give Malbec both ripeness and tension – plenty of fruit, but also a cooler, firmer line running through it. This wine leans into that balance very nicely. It has the dark fruit and generosity you want from Argentine Malbec, but also the freshness and mineral definition that make high-altitude Mendoza so compelling.
