'One-Liner'
A dry Tokaj Furmint with orchard fruit, citrus freshness, volcanic minerality and a clean, energetic finish.
Tasting Note
Pale gold in the glass. The nose is fresh and aromatic, with sliced apple, pear, citrus peel, white peach and a little floral lift. On the palate it is dry, medium-bodied and lively, with Furmint’s natural acidity giving the wine real drive. There’s a subtle mineral edge and a clean, citrus-led finish, with the fruit kept bright rather than heavy. A brilliant introduction to dry Tokaj – expressive, refreshing and quietly serious.

The Story
Tokaj is still best known for its great sweet wines, but dry Furmint has become one of the region’s most exciting modern calling cards. The grape has naturally high acidity, good structure and a real ability to show where it is grown, especially on Tokaj’s volcanic soils.
The Hun comes from a selection of vineyard sites, including Hasznos, Bohomáj, Úrágya, Urbán and Nyulászó. The 2021 vintage was balanced and relatively cool towards harvest, which helped preserve acidity and shape a dry white with freshness, aroma and poise.
