'One-Liner'
A bright, beautifully refreshing Verdicchio with ripe apricot, crisp orchard fruit and citrus – mineral, lightly saline and finished with the grape’s characteristic touch of bitter almond.

Tasting Note
Pale straw in colour, with fragrant apricot and green apple joined by white flowers, ripe pear and fresh lemon zest. The palate is crisp yet nicely textured, bringing together juicy stone fruit and grapefruit with lively acidity and a subtle saline minerality. Clean and persistent through the finish, with citrus freshness giving way to a delicate bitter-almond note that is unmistakably Verdicchio.

The Story
Monte Schiavo was established by the Pieralisi family in 1976 at Maiolati Spontini, in the heart of the classic Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi zone, building on the family’s involvement in Marche viticulture since the 1960s. Ruviano is made entirely from organically grown Verdicchio taken from estate vineyards around Maiolati Spontini, Montecarotto, Poggio San Marcello and Rosora. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve their bright fruit and natural freshness, producing a classic, approachable expression of Verdicchio with plenty of orchard fruit, citrus and that distinctive savoury almond finish.
