A bright, finely made sparkling Sauvignon Blanc with citrus, gooseberry and a fresh, elegant finish.

Tasting Note
Pale straw in the glass with a lively, persistent mousse. The nose is aromatic and lifted, with gooseberry, lemongrass, citrus and orchard fruit, backed by a little creamy breadth from time on the lees. On the palate it feels fresh and precise, with ripe Sauvignon Blanc fruit, fine bubbles and a clean, balanced finish. There is plenty of brightness here, but it still feels properly composed rather than simply frothy.

The Story
Sauvignon Blanc is not the obvious route if you want to make serious traditional-method sparkling wine in Germany, which is exactly why this bottle stands out. Oliver Zeter has made Sauvignon Blanc one of the estate’s signatures, and this Brut takes that aromatic, early-ripening variety and turns it into something much more finely tuned than you might expect – all the brightness and varietal character are still there, but shaped into a wine with proper poise and finesse.
