'One-Liner'
A powerful, polished Primitivo Riserva with dark berries, plum jam, sweet spice, balsamic lift and toasted oak richness.

Tasting Note
Bright ruby red with garnet hints. The nose is intense and complex, with wild blackberry, dried plum, raspberry jam and blueberry, followed by nutmeg, vanilla, clove, aromatic herbs, leather, toasted almond and dried violet. The palate is dry, warm and full, with bright acidity, firm tannins and a persistent finish shaped by spice, balsamic notes and toasted oak.

The Story
Produttori di Manduria has been closely tied to Primitivo since 1932, working in the grape’s historic heartland in southern Puglia. Manduria is treated as the birthplace of the variety, and the local DOC was created in the 1970s to recognise that identity more formally. ‘Elegia’ sits at the richer, more serious end of the producer’s range: a Riserva made from 35 to 50-year-old vines, trained as alberello bush vines and on spalliera, then aged for 12 months in French Allier oak barriques. It is Primitivo with weight, polish and tradition behind it – dark-fruited, spicy, generous and unmistakably Mandurian.
