'One-Liner'
A Provence rosé with genuine rock-star credentials – wild strawberry, peach and citrus wrapped in a silky texture and bone-dry freshness.

Tasting Note
Delicate pale salmon pink in the glass, with an expressive nose of wild strawberry, red cherry and ripe pear alongside fresh citrus and white peach. The palate is supple and beautifully polished, with juicy red berry fruit giving way to grapefruit and a subtle chalky mineral character. A gently creamy texture through the middle adds substance without sacrificing the freshness expected from good Provence rosé. Bright citrus acidity keeps everything lively, while the Grenache and Cinsault bring softness, perfume and generous fruit. Dry, silky and wonderfully refreshing on the finish, with strawberry, peach and citrus lingering behind.

The Story
Putting the Queen name on a bottle was always going to attract attention, but drummer Roger Taylor was determined that the wine itself should earn its place on the table. He became actively involved in the project, from shaping the blend through to the final design, working alongside Les Caves du Commandeur, a Provençal winery founded in 1913 and supported by around 60 local growers. The 2025 combines Grenache and Cinsault grown on clay-limestone soils, with the fruit given a cold pre-fermentation settling before a cool fermentation at 16–17°C and a period of ageing on the lees. The result is classic Provence in style – pale, dry, silky and fresh – but with just enough swagger to justify the name Cuvée Rock ’N’ Roll.
