Tasting Note
Fresh and expressive, with green apple, pineapple and passion fruit joined by grapefruit, lime and a distinctive herbal lift. The palate is crisp and energetic, with juicy tropical fruit balanced by bright acidity and a gently grassy edge, while cool fermentation in stainless steel keeps everything clean and vibrant. Light on its feet but full of flavour, it finishes dry and mouth-watering with lingering citrus and fresh herbs.

The Story
Round Stone captures the bright, exuberant style that has made Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc one of New Zealand’s best-known wines. Sauvignon Blanc forms the heart of the blend, with small additions of Pinot Gris and Riesling adding a little extra breadth and aromatic lift. The fruit is harvested and fermented cool in stainless steel, keeping oak firmly out of the picture and allowing Marlborough’s trademark combination of tropical fruit, citrus and fresh herbal character to shine through. The result is an uncomplicated but thoroughly satisfying white – crisp, aromatic and made with refreshment very much in mind.
