Tasting Note
Pale gold in the glass. The nose is expressive and aromatic, with apricot, green apple and white peach to the fore. On the palate it feels light and fresh, with gentle sweetness balanced by racy acidity and a mineral edge that keeps it lively rather than cloying. Clean, easy-going and very drinkable.

The Story
S.A. Prüm is a long-established Mosel family estate founded in 1911, with the Prüm family’s roots in the region stretching back much further. The Essence bottling is made as an accessible introduction to the house style – hand-harvested fruit, stainless-steel fermentation and a focus on aromatic fruit, freshness and mineral character rather than weight. That all makes sense in the glass: a gentle, off-dry Riesling that shows the lighter, more immediately charming side of Mosel.
