'One-Liner'
A rare volcanic white from Badacsony – taut citrus, minty herbs, roasted almond and a salty mineral snap.

Tasting Note
Pale straw in the glass with a greenish hue. The nose is fresh and distinctive, with lemon zest, light minty herb, orchard fruit and a subtle roasted-kernel note. On the palate it is dry, tense and mineral-led, with vibrant acidity, citrus brightness and a fine saline line. There is a quiet almond-like savouriness beneath the fruit, giving the wine both freshness and grip. A characterful, volcanic Hungarian white with precision, energy and a long, clean finish.

The Story
Kéknyelű is one of Hungary’s great wine curiosities – rare, historic and strongly associated with Badacsony on the northern side of Lake Balaton. Its name translates roughly as “blue stalk”, and it has become something of a calling card for the region: distinctive, low-profile and quietly prized by people who like whites with tension and personality.
