'One-Liner'
Volcanic-born Balaton white – citrus, almond and a salty-mineral snap.

Tasting Note
Pale straw with a greenish hue. The nose suggests lemon zest, light minty herb and a hint of roasted kernel. The palate is taut and mineral-led – citrus and orchard fruit over a fine, saline line – with vibrant acidity and a quietly long finish. Serve well chilled.

The Story
Sabar Borház farms volcanic slopes in Badacsony, the historic PDO on Lake Balaton’s north shore known for mineral-stamped whites. Kéknyelű – a rare local variety cultivated mostly in Badacsony – gives delicately aromatic, high-acid wines that carry the region’s basalt signature. The 2024 bottling keeps things fresh and terroir-focused, with spontaneous fermentation and that hallmark saline edge.

- Fish:
Lemon & herb baked cod with new potatoes – the wine’s citrus lift and crisp finish suit simply seasoned white fish.
