Tasting Note
Pale pink in the glass, with fragrant raspberry and strawberry joined by delicate flowers, red cherry and crisp Gala apple. The palate is light, dry and refreshingly fruit-driven, with bright acidity bringing energy to the ripe berry flavours and a subtle touch of spice adding interest. Fresh and easy-going through the finish, with lingering red fruit and a clean citrus lift.

The Story
Cramele Recaș began its modern chapter in 1988, when three families took on a neglected former state winery and a substantial collection of vineyards in western Romania. Since then, considerable investment in the vineyards and cellar has helped establish the estate as one of the country’s most internationally recognised producers. Solara Rosé is made entirely from Pinot Noir, with a short, cool period of skin contact drawing out its delicate colour and fresh red-fruit character before fermentation in stainless steel. A small amount of natural sweetness softens the wine’s lively acidity, creating a bright, approachable rosé with plenty of flavour and an unmistakably refreshing finish.
