Szepsy, Tokaji 'Szamorodni', 2017 (50cl)

Szamorodni, meaning 'as it comes,' refers to harvesting whole bunches that include both aszú and healthy ripe berries (unlike Aszú wine, where aszú berries are picked separately). Soaking helps release the botrytised character, resulting in a fresh, sweet wine with 170g of residual sugar. It offers vibrant flavours of yellow and dried fruits, subtle minerality, and a delicate hint of botrytis.
