'One-Liner'
Pear, citrus and a little ginger spice – textured Heathcote Marsanne with a crisp, clean finish.
Tasting Note
Pale gold. Aromas of pear, apple and honeydew with lifted florals and a light almond note. Medium-bodied and gently textural – subtle oak and time on lees add weight – with pear, citrus and white-peach flavours and a hint of ginger spice. Fresh acidity keeps it lively through the finish. Serve lightly chilled.

The Story
Tellurian farms on Heathcote’s ancient Cambrian soils around Toolleen – deep, decomposed greenstone and limestone that help build flavour while preserving freshness. The estate is organically farmed and ACO-certified; Marsanne is a long-time house specialty. The style sees cool harvesting, fermentation largely in stainless steel with a component in seasoned French oak, and a short spell on lees for texture – made for early drinking but with enough weight to handle richer white-wine dishes.
Perfect With... (click me for the recipe)
- Meat: Lemon–herb roast chicken with fennel & potato – the wine’s pear–citrus core and gentle texture love roast chicken and sweet fennel.
- Vegetarian: Mushroom & thyme tart with a green salad – savoury umami and pastry echo the wine’s leesy roundness.
- Vegan: Miso–sesame roasted aubergine with herby couscous – savoury depth and a touch of sweetness match the wine’s texture and spice hint.
