A bright, Atlantic Albariño with citrus, white fruit and a lovely salty flicker on the finish.

Tasting Note
Pale straw in the glass. The nose leans into citrus, apple and pear, with floral notes and a lightly saline, mineral edge. On the palate it’s fresh and energetic, with juicy fruit, bright acidity and a clean, mouth-watering finish. Crisp, polished and very easy to like.

The Story
Astrid is made by Adegas Gran Vinum, a family winery founded in 2002 by the Piñeiro Cores family, who have long farmed in Rías Baixas. The vineyards sit in Val do Salnés, the oldest Albariño subzone, on a peninsula between the Umia River and the Ría de Arousa, where maritime breezes help preserve freshness. The estate works with sandy, granitic soils and traditional pergola training, with hand harvesting and cool stainless-steel fermentation used to keep the wine precise, aromatic and coastal in feel.
