Tasting Note
Pale and bright in the glass with a lively stream of fine bubbles, opening with fresh aromas of gooseberry, greengage and delicate stone fruit alongside subtle floral notes. The palate is dry and refreshing, with lime and citrus bringing plenty of zest before riper hints of mango and green fruit emerge through the middle. Fine bubbles keep everything light and energetic, while the botanical infusion adds another layer of gentle herbal complexity. There is enough fruit to give the wine shape without tipping it towards sweetness. Crisp, clean and lively on the finish, with citrus, green fruit and delicate herbs lingering behind.

The Story
Wild Life Botanicals was created in Cornwall by Ellie Bradshaw, co-founder of Cornish Sea Salt, after a search for a more sophisticated alternative to conventional sparkling wine when alcohol was not wanted. Nude begins with dealcoholised white wine, which makes up 95% of the finished drink, before grape must and a specially developed blend of lemon balm, Damask rose, ashwagandha, rosemary and damiana are added alongside vitamins and minerals. The result is rather different from the usual alcohol-free fizz – less about trying to copy Prosecco exactly and more about combining dry sparkling wine character with a distinctly botanical edge. Crafted in Cornwall and sitting at just 0.5% ABV, it has become the flagship white expression of a thoroughly modern Cornish drinks producer.
