'One-Liner'
An elegant alpine Pinot Nero with bright cherry, red berries, gentle tannin and a fresh, lightly earthy finish.

Tasting Note
Bright ruby red in the glass. The nose is delicate and lifted, with red cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry and a subtle savoury edge. On the palate it is dry, fresh and medium-bodied, with silky texture, balanced tannins and a gentle acidic lift. There’s a lovely mountain freshness running through the wine, keeping the fruit precise rather than heavy. A refined, lighter-bodied red that would be beautiful served just slightly cool.

The Story
Valle Isarco is better known for its crisp, aromatic white wines, but its reds can be quietly lovely when the right grape finds the right slope. Pinot Nero – or Blauburgunder, as it is known locally – is a natural fit for the cooler alpine side of Alto Adige, where freshness, perfume and elegance matter more than sheer weight.
Cantina Valle Isarco’s Pinot Nero comes from the warmer hillsides around Campodazzo, in the lower part of the valley. That setting gives the grape enough ripeness for red cherry and berry fruit, while the mountain climate keeps the wine bright, fine-boned and expressive.
